Banana Loaf

Banana loaf is a dish which is simple bread made with ripe bananas.
Bananas indeed quite complement with baking technique and cakes and breads made with banana flavor are relished by all. Here’s sharing with you a simple recipe for banana loaf which you can easily prepare at home and enjoy its tastesThis dish is quite popular with people because of its delicious taste and easy method of preparation.

Preparation Time : 60-65 minutes

Serving : Makes one 4*8 inch loaf

Catgegory Of Food : Tea-time or breakfast snack

Ingredients:

1 ½ cup all purpose flour
1/3rd cup softened butter
1 egg
3-4 very ripe mashed bananas
1 teaspoon baking soda
A pinch of salt
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method:

Preheat oven to 180° C and grease a 4*8 inch loaf pan with butter.
Mix butter and mashed bananas in a mixing bowl.
Add sugar, egg and vanilla essence to the above mixture.
Then, add baking soda and salt to the mixture.
In the last, add flour and mix properly to get a batter with dropping consistency.
Pour this final batter into the loaf pan and bake for one hour.
Check with a wooden stick and if the stick comes out clean, your loaf is done.
Keep it aside to cool down and then remove the loaf from pan.
Slice the loaf into pieces and serve
