Providing you with an easy Recipe for Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.
Introduction: Chocolate cake is a dish which is flavored with chocolate or cocoa powder.
Everyone loves chocolate cake; no matter you are young or old. Here's providing you with a simple recipe for chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. which you can easily prepare at home and enjoy its delicious and blissful taste.

Preparation Time : 1 Hour

Serving : 12 People

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups all purpose flour
1 cup Sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons cocoa powder (unsweetened)
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
3/4th cup milk
3/4th cup melted butter
2 eggs
For frosting:
1 ½ cup softened butter
3 cups powdered sugar
½ cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1 ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
4-5 tablespoons milk

Method:

Preheat oven to 180° C.
Grease a 9 inch cake tin with butter.
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.
Melt butter at low temperature in a pan and add to the above mixture. Also add milk and eggs.
Mix all the ingredients together to get a smooth batter of dropping consistency.
Transfer this batter to the cake tin and bake at 350° C for 30-40 minutes. You can check by inserting a wooden pick at the center. If it comes out clean, your cake is done.
Cool down the cake and slice it into two layers through the middle.
For frosting:
Mix softened butter and sugar in a bowl and add cocoa, vanilla essence and 4 tbsp. lukewarm milk to it. Mix until smooth. Add more milk if required.
Use 1/3rd of this frosting for middle layer, 1/3rd for sides and rest for the top.

Nutritional Values : One piece of this cake contains about 235 calories, 10 g fats, 35 g carbohydrates and 3 g proteins. It also contains traces of calcium and Vitamin A.
