Banana Microwave Cake Recipe

Whenever you feeling hunger pangs then it is a good idea to have a slice of banana cake. It is an excellent form o snack that can be taken with tea. Due to the highly nutritious values of banana it is also a good source of getting them along with taste. It is indeed a tasty dessert without oodles of calories and fatty ingredients associated with. Moreover Banana Cake with Microwave is very easy to make in a less time. Whenever you come across some unexpected guests then it is a delicious dish to serve before them in a jiffy.

Preparation Time : 30 - 35 minutes

Ingredients:

Bananas – 2 ripe and mashed
Eggs – 2
Self raising flour – 1 cup
Castor sugar – 1 cup
Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon
Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
Butter – 125 gram

Method:

Take butter, sugar and eggs, beat them together with a mixer until a creamy and smooth mixture forms.
Now mix all the remaining ingredients and mix them until a smooth paste. It should be free of any lump.
Leave the mixture for about 15 minutes to rise.
Take a cake pan and grease it with butter or you can use a paper towel to cover up the surface.
Pour the mixture into the cake pan and spread evenly by tapping it on the surface with hands.
Cover the pan and put into microwave for 4 minutes on high heat.
Uncover the pan after 4 minutes and again heat on high for further 4 minutes until the cake turns out to be spongy and fluffy.
Check with a toothpick if the cake is completely baked or not.
Take it out and leave to cool for some time. Serve it with tea or coffee.
