Banana Cake Recipe is a kind of dish which is made up of ripe bananas. It is supposed to be healthy and wholesome snacks taken between the meals. It is best taken along with tea. Due to inclusion of banana it remains very moist and sweet to the person's taste. From centuries it has been a popular snack of Americans.

Preparation Time : 1 Hour

Ingredients:

Bananas – 2-3 (ripe)
Maida or Refined Flour – 1 ½ Cup
Butter or Vegetable oil - ½ Cup
Egg – 1
Sugar – 1 Cup or according to taste
Vanilla Essence – 1 teaspoon
Baking Soda: 1 teaspoon
Almonds and Cashews : ¼ Cup
Salt- a pinch
Raisin: ¼ Cup

Method:

Peel the bananas and mash them nicely into a thick paste.
Now add sugar and butter to the paste and mix well.
Add a beaten egg to the mixture and mix well.
Take flour and add salt and baking soda to it.
Now pour the flour into the paste made up of banana and other ingredients. Slowly add it to the mixture and continuously mix it well so that no lumps produce.
Now before adding the raisin and other nuts mix them with little flour. This done to avoid the sinking of these ingredients at the time of baking.
It’s time to add vanilla essence, nuts and raisins to the final batter and mix well with the help of spatula.
Take a greased pan and pour all the mixture into it, set it into the pan by tapping on the corners.
Put the pan into a preheated oven at 350 degrees and bake it for about 25-30 minutes.
After the mentioned time check the cake by inserting a knife or toothpick into it. If it comes out clean then your cake is ready.
Enjoy the cake with tea or as it is.
