Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

An Ultra-thick and creamy peanut butter and banana smoothie that tastes like a milkshake. At the same time, it is good for your health too. A simple and convenient recipe for your everyday breakfast.

Preparation Time : 5-10 minutes

Serving : 2 persons

Ingredients:

2 overripe large banana (frozen)
4-6 tbsp peanut butter or allergy-friendly substitute
1 ½ to 2 cups milk (any variety)
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 cup quick oats or rolled oats (optional)
Honey or Sugar or any other sweetener of choice, to taste
Scoop of protein powder (optional)

Important Note:

For making the smoothie thicker, feel free to add an extra banana. Further, makes sure that banana is at least partially brown before peeling and freezing.

Method:

1. Blend the oats into a fine powder form.
2. Next, add the peanut butter, banana, salt, sugar or honey, milk, etc. and blend until completely smooth.
3. The peanut butter banana smoothie is ready to be served.

Nutritional Values : The peanut butter and banana smoothie have 350 calories, 18g fat, 42g carbohydrate, 7.5g fibre, and 12g protein.

Note : The nutritional value was calculated without protein powder. Thus, if you choose to add protein then it will be even higher.
